IPT/APP announces new distribution partnership with Ginolis

In April, IPT/APP announced a new distribution partnership with Ginolis. Ginolis provides innovative automated solutions for the manufacture and processing of microcomponents for medical device and diagnostic products.

Under the terms of the agreement, IPT/APP will market, sell and support Ginolis’ entire portfolio of assembly automation, liquid handling and quality inspection solutions across the UK and Ireland.

CyberOptics awards APP’s consistent sales contribution

CyberOptics honours European distributor APP Electronics for its “Consistent Sales Contribution” in 2018.

APP Electronics has distributed CyberOptics inspection solutions for over 15 years.

Managing Director of APP Electronics Jack Daly was delighted to accept the award, “It is great to see our expertise in distributing CyberOptics’ solutions being rewarded. We look forward to our continued partnership.”

Headquartered in the UK, APP Electronics has sold machinery and equipment to the electronics industry for over 40 years.

Chester Medical Solutions Selects Mettler Toledo XMV-TE Serialisation System

Pharmaceutical contract packer, Chester Medical Solutions, has selected METTLER TOLEDO to provide its serialisation solution, based around the XMV TE Track & Trace technology.
 
APP Ltd, Official Partners for METTLER TOLEDO serialisation solutions in the UK, will be managing the project from start to finish, making sure the serialisation journey is as smooth as possible.

PCE and Tracelink in live serialisation demo

At a recent Track & Trace event at PCE headquarters in Zwingenberg, PCE and Tracelink demonstrated the capability of the PCE Site Manager Software to download serial numbers from the cloud, run them through a PCE XMV Datamatrix station and subsequently upload the completed report to Tracelink. A number of customers attended from Germany, the UK and Spain.

McKesson Communicates Serialization & Aggregation Expectations to Suppliers

In a letter this week to its suppliers, McKesson—the largest pharmaceutical distributor in the United States—addressed their expectations relating to Title II of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA). The company’s position is clear: manufacturers and suppliers will be required to serialize materials using GS1 standards, namely: aggregating product from item level to pack/bundle (if applicable); pack/bundle to case level, and case level to pallet level (using the GTIN and SSCC label formats).

Following on from App Ltd and PCE Mettler Toledo's open day last year we have decided to get closer to the customer and put on two regional serialisation events. 10th May in Sheffield (Aston Hall) and 11th May in London (Shendish Manor). Throughout the day there will be live machine demos and talks from Be4ward, PCE, Domino, GS1 and TraceLink. Topics covered will include: current regulations, past experiences, industry readiness and serialisation for CMO's.
